IMPORTANT UPDATES REGARDING COVID-19 AND YOUR TOURS:
We do want to assure you that, though working remotely from home, our staff is still working tirelessly to respond to all concerns and questions.
Below are answers to some of the most frequently asked questions we are getting from our travelers:
IS MY TOUR STILL SET TO TRAVEL?
All tours that were scheduled for departure through July 31, 2020 have been canceled or postponed. Unless you have been told otherwise, all other tours are still scheduled to travel. We will, of course, continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates of any changes. We are in constant contact with our ground operation partners in the Holy Land and Europe, and we are also constantly monitoring any updates from the CDC, WHO, and the Department of State.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TOUR IS POSTPONED?
All monies paid for the initial tour dates will be carried over to the new dates. Flight schedules and itineraries will all be changed to accommodate the new dates as selected by your Tour Leader and our office and partners. Once the new travel dates are confirmed, we will notify each group accordingly.
WHAT IF MY TOUR IS POSTPONED AND I CANNOT TRAVEL ON THE NEW DATES?
We understand that some of you may not be able to attend the new tour dates of the tour. Please notify us immediately in writing via mail or email, and we will provide you with information as to what refund, if any, you may be entitled to. All cancelation requests must be in writing (at this time, email is best).
IF I HAVE PAID MY DEPOSIT AND CHOOSE TO CANCEL, AM I ENTITLED TO A REFUND?
If your tour is still scheduled to travel, and you choose to cancel your booking, the timeline for cancelation and what refund may be due will be as per the cancelation policy as stated on the tour’s brochure. Cancelation terms will apply based on the date that your written cancelation is received by our office. Please contact us for further details.
If I have paid for my TOUR in full, and I choose to cancel, will I get a refund?
If your tour is still scheduled to travel and you wish to cancel, you may be entitled to a refund depending on how far in advance you cancel your booking as per the Terms and Conditions and cancelation policy stated on your tour’s brochure. Cancelation terms will be applied based on the date that the written cancelation is received by our office.
I am concerned, and have not yet paid the final balance due on my tour. Am I able to delay making payment?
Our Terms and Conditions state that payments for final balances are due 60 days in advance of the tour’s departure date. If your tour is still scheduled to travel on its original dates, and payment is not received by the due date, you will be removed from the tour. If you were removed from the tour and wish to rejoin the tour at a later date, a new booking is required which means a new registration form, passport copy, and deposit must be sent to our office. The price may be higher due to the possibility of higher airfare, and/or re-securing hotel and ground arrangements, and will be subject to availability. If your tour has been postponed, final balances will be due 60 days prior to the new departure date. Please contact our office for any questions regarding this matter.
If I choose to cancel my booking, will I be covered by my travel insurance?
Insurance policies vary enormously, so we advise you to contact the insurance company you purchased your policy for answers. It is possible that your insurance policy may cover some costs. However, most policies are unlikely to cover costs of cancelation due to a disinclination to travel.
IF I CHOOSE TO STAY ON A TOUR THAT HAS BEEN POSTPONED, WILL I BE COVERED BY THE TRAVEL INSURANCE POLICY I ALREADY PURCHASED:
This is also up to the insurance company you purchased your policy with, and it is likely they will need confirmation of the new tour dates and that you are in fact registered for that tour. Please contact us if you need documentation for this purpose.
PASSION PLAY TOURS:
All 2020 Passion Play Tours have been postponed to year 2022. The premier will now take place on May 14, 2022. We are currently working with the Passion Play Committee as to confirmation of the new tour/play dates in 2022. For those of you who will be staying on your tour for 2022, your deposits will be transferred to the new tour dates, and final balances will not be owed until 60 days prior to your new departure date. The deposits will remain non-refundable, as set out in the terms and conditions of the tour brochure.
Each group will be receiving email notification with updates to the Passion Play 2022 Event as soon as more details are confirmed.
Again, we are continuously monitoring the situation for updates and guidance, and are staying in touch with the airlines, as well as our ground operations overseas. Please feel free to email us or contact us should you have any questions. We will of course provide updates to each group as we receive new information.
